West Chester Shredding Event This Weekend!

If you have started you Spring cleaning and found that you have a pile of documents that need to be shredded and you have some old appliances that you no longer need, we have you covered!  West Chester will be holding its annual shredding and appliance recycling event this coming weekend, May 18th!

 

The event will take place at 9am at the Municipal Building parking lot on 401 E. Gay Street.  Residents and business can bring up to 5 boxes to be shred on-site.  You can also bring items such as vacuum cleaners, televisions, computers and toaster ovens.  Please do not bring items with freon or very large appliances! 

This event should be a great way to get rid of some excess goods that you may have left over from your move to Jefferson Pointe or perhaps have come across during your Spring cleaning.  Stop by this Saturday and get your apartment in order for the new season and warm weather ahead! Mother’s Day Excursions in West Chester

Happy Saturday Jefferson Pointe!  The weekend is here and many of us are getting ready to celebrate Mother’s Day tomorrow.  If you plan on getting out of the house for brunch or a great breakfast somewhere in West Chester, why not cap off your fantastic day with a train ride!  Train rides typically last about 90 minutes and will bring a bit of nostalgia to the day for sure!  Capture the beauty of the Chester Creek Valley and take a ride with that special mom in your life.  It would be a great time to sit, relax and talk while taking in some nice view from the comfort of your seat.
